Wisteria Designs

After hard work on "Hearts" Sewing Set I wanted to take a few days off and to read a book and to stitch a little, something from my stash, something by Just Nan to be exact. But everything went a little different.
I started stitching a design but it was not a Just Nan and before I finished stitching it I was asked to make a design with Wisteria (Глициния - ru). Wisteria was very pretty this year here but it did not bloom long : heavy rains and cold killed the blossoms. So I had to look through my last year pictures for some inspiration and here is what I have designed: a little sampler/picture and a biscornu:
"Wisteria" Sampler/ Picture and "Wisteria " Biscornu
I tried to make the picture look delicate like a watercolor and the biscornu is a little brighter with some sparkle.
"Wisteria" Biscornu has Butterfly and Bee sides:
* * * * *
If you are interested in buying any of my designs, please write an e-mail to me. My e-mail address is in my Profile.
And here is what I have stitchinged from my stash:

This is "Lavender Luminescence" by The Sweetheart Tree.
I also finished an ornament for Donna project "Stitching For A Cure":

You, probably, noticed that all my stitching is in purple this time but I did not plan this. Psychology can explain this, well I know what it means.
I also want to thank Yoyo for passing an award to me, it's a great honor to receive it from you. I really appreciate this.
And traditionally some garden pictures for you:
And again a bug... Why do they keep coming to my garden?!
I thought it is a leaf on the fence, when I realized that it is not, I again asked the bug to wait a second, brought my camera and took some pictures of it.
Thank you very much for your comments, it's a pleasure to read them.
Happy stitching to everyone!

The wisteria is a lovely design. And your finishing is beautiful as always. Mylene's finish is lovely as well.

What kind of 'bug' is that? I thought it was a leaf too.

Another beautiful designs, Olga. I especially like the biscornu. I think i am into biscornu's at the moment, would really like to do more of it.

Actually i made three biscornu of your spring freebie, i should have send you a picture of it before i lost all pictures on my doc.map but i was waiting for Natalija to receive the one i send to her. So one for the giveaway, one for Natalija and one for me. I really enjoy stitching them, thanks so much for sharing one of your designs.

Oh the wisteria is lovely. Apparently that luna moth heard what lovely flowers you designed and came to see firsthand. You know, I never get beautiful butterflies like that in my neighborhood.

Well Olga, you have destroyed my plans to show some restraint - that Wisteria is a must have, it is a stunning design, and just my colour.

The moth is awesome, I have never seen anything like it. Like you, I would have thought it was a leaf!!

Hi, I just happened onto your blog and fell in love with it. Cross stitch was my greatest love in crafting but a few years ago developed health conditions that prevent me from doing fine needle work anymore by hand, but I discovered quilting. Now I make pieced quilt tops on my sewing machine and again feel like I can create something beautiful. I had to tell you though, that your stitching is breathtaking and beautiful. I am truly enjoying looking at your designs. Also, that lovely bug on your fence was, I think, a 'Luna Moth' and they are also beautiful. Thank you for sharing the photos. I will be back to check for more lovely stitching soon.

Oh my, Wisteria is just beautiful! Love the biscornu especially. I don't mind if you keep your moth, but I sure would like to share your garden, we're barely getting a few blooms now, and it's pretty cold -- maybe not freezing, but some of the buds won't make it through tonight.
